Page Summary
The Page Summary is used to set general page information when used in social sharing and when referencing on certain pages.
NOTE: This content will NOT APPEAR on your live site, it is purely used in the background when sharing pages on social media, or referencing on certain pages.
Usage
- Sharing specific information when the page is shared on social media. Social media platforms will pull this information when a page is shared.
Where to Find It
You can find the Page Summary component at the top of every page – it comes standard on EVERY page in the CMS.
What It Looks Like
To Edit, Etc.
- General Page Info: Used for social sharing purposes.
- Title: Page title, if not set, will inherit Title from Page Properties.
- Summary: Short description of page.
- Feature Image: Can be set in Page Summary, or by checking box in text/text image component on page.
- Reference Page Info: Used in certain components to reference page.
- Date: Date of page, if not set, inherits date page was created.
- Category: Used in certain components to reference a category of content page belongs to. Will appear on page when referenced.
- Link Text: Used to create link to page.
- Standard Tags: Tag library managed by CMS Web Team, used in certain components to reference a category of content. Will not show up on page.
