BIO
David Schvartzman received the B.S. degree (summa cum laude Hons.) in electrical and computer engineering from the National University of Asunción, San Lorenzo, Paraguay, in 2011. He received the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA, in 2015, and is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree, also in electrical and computer engineering from OU. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a telecom engineer with the Network Planning and Capacity Group, Millicom International Cellular.
Schvartzman is a research associate with the Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meteorological Studies at the University of Oklahoma, which is affiliated with the National Severe Storms Laboratory. As a member of the Advanced Radar Techniques team, he develops evolutionary signal processing algorithms to improve quality, accuracy, and timeliness of multifunction phased array radars. His research interests include the area of signal processing, with applications to phased array and Doppler weather radars.
