Choon Yik Tang
Choon Yik Tang received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, in 1996 and 1997, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, in 2003.
From 2003 to 2004, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. From 2004 to 2006, he was a Research Scientist at Honeywell Laboratories, Minneapolis, MN. Before being promoted to Associate Professor, he was an Assistant Professor from August 2006 to 2013, in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. His research interests are in the areas of control, wireless communications, and networking, especially in problems at the intersection of these areas.
