The University of Oklahoma announced today the appointment of Andrea Miller as dean of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication and holder of the Sue Rainbolt Van Natta Chair in Journalism, pending OU Board of Regents’ approval.
University of Oklahoma honors student Juan Dills was named a 2024 Truman Scholar. Dills, an undergraduate student in the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work, plans to pursue a Master of Social Work with a desire to address problems around imprisonment and reincarceration in U.S. prisons.
NORMAN, OKLA. – The University of Oklahoma will award honorary degrees to four outstanding individuals in recognition of their extraordinary achievements and generous service to others. Receiving honorary degrees are: Barbara Ann Posey Jones, Toby Keith, Tom E. Love, and David Proctor.
