The Stephenson School of Biomedical Engineering equips students to enhance quality of life by providing innovative solutions to complex medical challenges. Students studying biomedical engineering are at the center of life-changing research, industry networking opportunities, and a nurturing entrepreneurial culture.
Biomedical engineers are making an impact – one life at a time.
Students in their junior and senior years are given the opportunity to focus on specific areas within BME, to study areas of engineering, science, and math in more depth, and to pursue research/design projects.
Our faculty are experts in areas that include:
Engage with world-class faculty, collaborate with OU Health Sciences Center physicians, and innovate in a highly entrepreneurial environment. Create new biotechnologies that advance health!
