Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Selection Policy
Graduates of medical schools outside the United States and Canada applying for graduate medical education in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are eligible for appointment if they meet the requirements for OUCM-T Resident Eligibility. Futhermore, it is strongly preferred that they meet each of the following qualifications:
- Have successfully passed USLME Step 1 and Step 2 CK examinations in 2 or fewer attempts (per step) with a score of 200 or better.
- Have a minimum of 3 letters of recommendation.
- Have not been out of medical school more than five years.
- Graduates of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine in the US accredited by AOA have completed 1 year of training and completed all requirements required by Oklahoma to obtain licensure prior to matriculating into our residency program.
