University of Oklahoma researchers launched the Children’s Environmental Health Center in the U.S. Southern Great Plains, a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to advancing research on children’s health and environmental exposures, funded by a $1.8 million grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The Tulsa County Medical Society recently inaugurated Ondria Gleason, M.D., as president for 2025. Gleason is a professor and chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine and a practicing psychiatrist with OU Health Physicians in Tulsa.
