Welcome to the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine Department of Psychiatry in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our department is an academically based, clinically driven program with two primary missions: to be a leader in the provision of exceptional, evidenced – based psychiatric care in Tulsa and the surrounding area, and to provide outstanding, evidence-based education for physicians in our residency and fellowship programs, as well as to students in the School of Community Medicine.
In addition to providing exceptional care in the OU Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic and in the OU Integrated Program of Assertive Community Treatment (IMPACT), we work closely with the major hospital systems in the Tulsa area to provide outstanding care while training psychiatry resident physicians, child psychiatry fellow physicians and students.
The department conducts innovative research in psychiatric education and clinical care. As you browse our website, you will see descriptions of our programs. We warmly thank you for visiting and invite you to return often. Please contact us with any questions, or if you would like to be part of our mission.
