The Oklahoma Microscopy Society 2024 Ugly Bug competition results are out. Oklahoma Microscopy Society members, including SRNML's Dr. Preston Larson collected Scanning Electron Microscope images of bugs submitted by different classrooms. And the 2024 winners are:

- Silo Elementary - Carolina Mantis
- Casady School - Eastern Cicada Killer Wasp
- Washington Elementary - Female Velvet Ant
