Is there a charge to visit the facility or consult with SRNML personnel?
No, we encourage visits and consultations to decide the best course of action to assist your research, education, and/or outreach efforts.
If I’m collaborating with an SRNML researcher, why do I have to pay recharge fees?
Recharge fees are required to cover the cost of maintenance and operation of the instruments and facility, SRNML may not profit from recharge. If a member of the SRNML team makes a significant contribution to your project, they should be included as a co-author independently of the fees for services (see our polices for a description of significant contribution).
How long will my data be stored at SRNML?
SRNML will store your data for 90 days, after which it is likely to be overwritten by new data. Once data are collected, you should transfer the data to your systems. You are responsible for the long-term archiving of data.
Can SRNML personnel collaborate on projects and serve on student committees?
Yes, SRNML personnel can be collaborators and co-Investigators on projects, and may serve on graduate student committees.
