Fellowship Director


Mark Calder, MD, MPH 

Dr. Calder was raised in Provo, Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience in 2002. He received both a master's degree from Tulane's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in Statistics and International Health and his medical degree from Tulane University Medical Center in 2009. Following medical school, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wayne State University based in Detroit, Michigan in 2014.

Dr. Calder then completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma in 2015 at the Trauma Fellowship of Oklahoma (TFO) and has since joined the Orthopedic Trauma Services of Oklahoma group practice and will assist in instructing the incoming fellows at TFO.

Azad Dadgar-Dehkordi, DO

Dr. Dadgar was raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. He left for Chicago to Loyola University to obtain his Bachelor's degree in Biology. Following graduation, he returned home and performed research at Georgetown University Medical Center prior to entering medical school. He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2013 and is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Following completion of the Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma, he completed a two-month fellowship with Dr. Hans-Christophe Pape at the University of Aachen in Germany, where he concentrated on the research of critically injured trauma patients. Dr. Dadgar subsequently joined the Orthopaedic & Trauma Services of Oklahoma group practice with Drs. Norris and Stafford. He has a faculty appointment at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine, Oklahoma State University and continues his academic involvement with the trauma fellowship.
