I joined the faculty at OU-Tulsa in 2015. I am interested in the continuum of medical education from students to fellows, but I have focused on medical students, teaching clinical medicine in the pre-clinical years, and now directing all medical student activities for the department. I am also the program director for our Sports Medicine Fellowship. I teach musculoskeletal and sports medicine at all levels. I also assist the residency program in educational and operational projects. Outside of medicine, I love spending time with my wife and three young daughters.
Why OU-Tulsa? I came to work at OU-Tulsa because I want to teach and be able to practice a wide variety of Family Medicine. Here, I am able to teach all levels of medical learners, from first year medical students to family medicine residents to sports medicine fellows. I also have the opportunity to practice sports medicine, outpatient primary care and inpatient medicine with the most capable and current professional partners.
