Why am I a Residency Program Coordinator? This role utilizes my skills as a professional and as a person. Overcoming challenges, problem-solving and creating new methods to achieve goals is fun for me. My favorite part of my position is seeing residents grow and become confident in their abilities. Seeing a resident’s progress as an intern, second year and third year is amazing. I am an encourager and I enjoy seeing people accomplish what they want to. I need my work to make a difference. I know that at the end of residency the value that a physician brings to a community as an independent practitioner cannot be measured.
