Gaylord College invites all students to attend it’s Spring Involvement Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, and Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the main lobby of Gaylord Hall. The involvement fair is for all students, but it is particularly helpful for incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Strategy and an eye for creativity on News9 and News On 6 comes from Ryan Welton, director of digital content for Griffin Media. Welton graduated from Gaylord in 1992 with a bachelor’s in Journalism and Public Relations and a minor in Spanish. Recently we heard about Welton’s journey after graduation, advice for graduates and current students, and his association with JayMac.

Keep on the lookout for Ambassador applications, there will be posters around the college with the link/QR Code. They will be due on Feb. 12 and notifications about interviews will come out around the first week of March. Any questions should be directed to Carlee Pascual carleepascual1@ou.edu.
Proposals for an international reporting project will be accepted until Feb. 15 by Gaylord’s Foreign Reporting Center. Funded by the Pulitzer Center, the international reporting project will permit the chosen student/students an opportunity to tell a story they investigate.
Creative Media Marketplace has been rescheduled to

The event cost is $25, which covers attendance and meals
during the event.

The University Counseling Center provides comprehensive mental health services at OU. Its mission is to provide high-quality counseling and crisis intervention to our campus community members, consultation and outreach services to campus organizations, and training and supervision opportunities for emerging mental health clinicians. The center promotes the psychological well-being of all members of the university community. Counselors are available virtually from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The OU Writing Center is a pedagogical service that supports the writing development of all members of the OU and Norman community. The primary goal of our consultations is to help writers learn something they can use in the future.
