The A.S.A.ssin is Up!
March 1st, 2006, Secure Location, 4:00pm

spacerA.S.I.A.'s new webserver is up and serving on the internet right now. As soon as IT gives us our DNS entry, the site will go live on http://asia.ou.edu The old site will start redirecting to the new top-level domain, but service will be uninterupted in any case. No need to remember the new address, which is, for now, http://129.15.202.185/asia (pictures haven't been uploaded yet)

spacerThe purpose of obaining our own webserver is to gain additional hosting support beyond what OU provides, which is about as vanilla as it gets. Particularly, I've been working on building us a forum, which is live right now. Forums are invaluable tools for the ultra-flat organization structures in student groups. This server is a part of my greater commitment to cultural organizations, so if you would like us to host you forum, just send me an email. To check out the amazingly simple forum software I'm using, go to http://129.15.202.185/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl

And now on to the question burning in your mind, what does an A.S.A.ssin look like?
