ASIA Elections Held
April 14th, 1989, Undisclosed Location
In order to continue bringing in fresh thinking so that ASIA can continue to further it's mission, we've elected a new president with bold fashion, smooth talking, and a permanently cheery disposition. Say hello to Hello Kitty!
If you need me, I'll be playing poker, breakdancing, working on the X-serve cluster, or just being a cultural infidel. Come buy in this weekend and thow some tabs! Hello Kitty will take care of the rest.
Live @ Asian Fear Factor Food Challenge
April 12th 2006, Dale Hall 200
Man, this AOΠ girl can't even pronounce なっと. It's "natto" like "not-toe". Hahahahaha! ..oh well. Anyway, we're moving on to the pork sampler. I'm going to be in Japan next year, so ...who knows what happens to the site. I guess I can continue to update it if you need. Just get a hold of me at knappador@gmail.com
Asian Fear Factor Food Challenge
April 12th 2006, Dale Hall 200
Announcing the second annual AFFFC! Come watch contestants chew their way through dishes of every conceivable origin towards a massive cash prize and their place in history as this year's "Man With the Iron Stomach!"
While the challenge is to be able to eat the food, take note that all of the foods served, while uncommon to most poeple, are indeed eaten by specific groups of people from around the world. Some examples of items served include 100-year-old egg, chicken feet, beef tripe,
and bitter gourd, and although they may sound exotic, all of the foods can be purchased at the Asian Supermarket in Oklahoma City.
Are you "THE ONE" with the Iron Stomach?
To the brave soul out there, we dare you, to take up
this challenge. A cash prize awaits the one who outwits, outruns and
outlasts the rest. Cost to join this competition, is
a mere $5, which will be due on the day of the event
and applicants are given 5 free tickets for supporters
to attend. Contact us at knappador@gmail.com to apply and we will forward you an application as soon as they are ready.

Keep an eye out for our booths and flyers or check back at this site to stay updated. I'm sure we'll see yet more kopiko and white rabbit in the days leading up to the event, so keep an eye out!
Also, the new webserver is up and running, and the forums are not far off. Stay posted and to learn about some of the other events we have up our sleeves. We're willing to host forums for other organizations that need better hosting than OU provides. Forums are a great way for loose organizations to stay in touch, so we're looking forward to having them up. |
A.S.I.A. Brand
February 28th 2006, Price Hall, 6:00pm-8:00pm
The T-shirt design is ready and will be unveiled soon. Thanks to all the people who contributed their designs to produce one sweet mosaic of truly unique...sweetness. After the three-course dinner of curried rice, pocky, and green tea ice cream, the officers stuck around for a bit to watch a Korean movie. Jacking a projector and staking out classroooms may have to become one of our new hobbies =)
With Asian Fear Factor Food Challenge coming up after spring break, we've decided to pull together a crew to help us get the word out and keep things on track. Free curry dinner to warm up our new aquantances :D This will be only the second annual AFFFC, and already it has a legacy... read
