Chief Walter J. Evans
Chief Evans currently serves as the first Chief of Police for the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa. As the OU-Tulsa Chief of Police, Chief Evans ensures safety and security needs are met for everyone within the University community. Chief Evans’ key task is to transition OU-Tulsa’s security force into a full-service police agency.
Chief Evans holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business and a Masters of Business Administration Degree, both from Cameron University. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
