OU Daily earned two Pinnacle Awards finalist honors bestowed on the nation’s best college media organizations in results announced Thursday by the College Media Association.
No other school had more than one student place in the contest.
He was selected for the honor by Dr. Ed Trayes from among 12 interns who completed his legendary editor boot camp at Temple University.
Maddy Keyes, who worked through the past year at OU Daily, and Marien López Medina, who previously did so, along with Gaylord's Kevin Palomino, were chosen for the distinguished investigative reporting fellowship.
