OU Daily student Terry Chanda Chishimba earned two advertising awards announced at the annual College Media Business and Advertising Managers conference in early October.
Chishimba’s entries won first place for best self-promotion ad and second place for best sales promotional materials.
Chishimba, an architect sophomore whose home country is Zambia, joined the ad and marketing staff as a designer his freshman year.
“The Daily has been a wonderful place for me to gain real-world experience,” Chishimba said. “My time here has been a great opportunity for growth in visual communication.”
