Biweekly Pay Transition - Graduate Assistants & Other Monthly Paid Student Employees
Timeline
The timeline below considers a number of factors that minimize the impact to employees:
- Fall 2023/Spring 2024: Communicate to monthly paid students, present at GSA/SGA meetings, and partner with the Graduate College on communication efforts
- November 2023: New salaried employees hired into biweekly payroll group, instead of hiring them in as monthly paid employees
- July 2024: Transition Graduate Assistants and monthly paid student employees to biweekly pay schedule
Payday Schedule for July 2024 Transition (Graduate Assistants & Other Monthly Paid Students):
- 06/30/24: Last monthly paycheck for June 1-30th
- 07/01/24: The first biweekly pay period begin date
- 07/26/24: First biweekly paycheck for the pay period 07/01/24 - 07/12/24
