Earth Materials
The School of Geosciences has ongoing fundamental and applied research on both high-temperature and low-temperature mineral formation and mineral-fluid interactions. The scales or our research range from nano-particles to planetary bodies. Faculty also study the behavior or rocks through experimental, field and numerical model studies. The formation and composition of carbonates and sandstones and diagenetic overprinting is also studied.
Below are some of the specific sub-disciplines we are focused on. Please visit the linked faculty pages for specific projects and contact them for more information.
