Dr. Staci Vollmer Bio (PDF)
Dr. Staci Vollmer is a lecturer for Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum at the University of Oklahoma. She teaches undergraduate and graduate literacy/reading courses, as well as professional education courses for the Elementary Education Program. Staci holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a doctoral degree in education from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to her work at the University of Oklahoma, Staci worked at East Central University as an Instructor of Elementary Education/Reading Program Director. Before that, she spent time working in Moore Public Schools as a classroom teacher.
Staci is passionate about ensuring her students leave the university with the tools needed to confidently and compassionately engage their students in learning activities that lead to critical thought and inquiry.
