As we find ourselves a few weeks past OU’s Giving Day, I've had the chance to reflect on the incredible support shown by Gaylord College’s community. With each passing day, my gratitude has only deepened. It was a joy to witness the collective effort of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and donors coming together to champion our programs and students, and I take immense pride in the dedication and hard work exhibited by the team of students I had the privilege to collaborate with to make Giving Day a success. Their passion and commitment were evident in every aspect of our accomplishment, making the day not only impactful but also enjoyable.
Gaylord College at the University of Oklahoma is unique by its impeccable standards but also by its potential. The creative media production major is integral to the future of Oklahoma as we continue to take on film and media projects.
Dr. Desiree Hill is no stranger to Gaylord College, as we begin a new year Dr. Hill begins her first full semester as assistant dean of student affairs. As a Gaylord alumna, she is ready to dive into the college and looks at her new position as another connection between her own family and the college.
Erin Semine Kökdil never planned on becoming a filmmaker. She was unsure where to go next when she graduated from Smith College with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and Spanish.
Everyone in Gaylord College is familiar with the required minor to accompany each degree and expand the field of learning, but what do our students know about pursuing a dual major? Gaylord students with majors in Gaylord and another college are fully immersed in their learning experience by taking their interests to the next level. Double majors within the college find ways to enhance their experiences outside of the college.

We make updates, identify assets and images that need to be replaced, and are constantly refining to allow for the best web experience for our visitors.
Update Job Board
We offer a free job posting service based on submissions of fill-time, part-time, and inernships available for our students and alumni to browse.
Practicum/Club Websites
We are currently working to develop a web presence for Practicums and Clubs in the college to help communicate projects, news, and assist with recruitment efforts of both prospective and current students.
