Need to meet with an advisor? Visit our advising page to connect with yours!

AGS Computing Services has a poster printer in both the NWC and SEC. The printers can print full color glossy posters up to 42″ in width and “unlimited” length. Please bring your poster file on a flash drive to one of our labs. Powerpoint slides tend to print best, but it will also print PDFs, Illustrator, etc. You can charge it to an account, or we accept exact cash and checks. The price is $8/ft for A&GS personnel and $12/ft for non-A&GS personnel.

Each year, the College, its units, and its research and academic partners give out scholarships and awards to deserving undergraduate and graduate students. These awards recognize the hardwork and dedication our students give during their time with the College in their scholarly work, their volunteerism, and their personal growth.

University Resources

OU's Academic Life Coaching is a one-on-one, free campus-wide mentoring program that helps you identify stressors and establish goals for academic success and degree completion. There is no cost and meetings are built around your availability.  This FAQ page will help further explain.  Schedule your first session through ALC's online student request form.  

The link to CASH opens annually on Oct. 1 for the next academic year and closes on February 1.

Currently enrolled A&GS students are strongly encouraged to apply for scholarships through the University’s Centralized Academic Scholarship Hub (CASH), accessible through the Financial Aid Website

In CASH, eligible students can apply for a number of other scholarships specific to the College's academic units, as well as:

  • The South Central Climate Science Adaptation Center International Studies Scholarship ($5,000)
  • The John T. Snow Study Abroad scholarship ($1,500)

In addition, the College provides a limited number of tuition waivers for out-of-state students, including incoming freshmen. Eligible students are selected by faculty annually.

The College of A&GS offers financial assistance to students traveling to professional conferences. 

The College also strongly encourages sophomores to apply for NOAA’s Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship Program, which provides a number of benefits, including up to $9,500 per year in academic assistance.  This scholarship is open to all A&GS majors. Here is a link to FAQ.

We encourage all students to meet with an OU MoneyCoach for assistance with academic financial planning.

The University College offers multiple tutoring centers across campus to assist OU students at no additional cost. Trained peer tutors provide direct in-person and virtual assistance. Action Tutoring includes several weekly established sessions by faculty. If you are looking for a subject not listed, please contact your professor for recommendations and/or visit your professor during office hours for additional assistance with course material.

The ADRC provides those with disabilities the tools needed to have equal access to educational opportunities. The ADRC also offers courtesy services for those with a temporary medical condition (i.e., pregnancy, broken hand/arm, etc.).

The OU Police Department is an accredited law enforcement agency responsible for coordinating and providing emergency and public safety services to the Norman Campus. The department provides a variety of services including law enforcement, security for university facilities and assets, plan review, security surveys, civil defense, and emergency preparedness coordination.

The Norman campus headquarters of the OU Police Department is at 2775 Monitor Avenue, just south of the intersection of Constitution Street and Monitor Avenue.

OU's Student Financial Center’s focus is to eliminate unnecessary barriers to college access and completion.  The SFC office strives to reach students earlier and more efficiently, freeing up time for the SFC Student Service Experts to have important conversations with students about their individual situations and what needs to be done to help them persist and succeed.

Veteran Student Services operates independently on each OU campus. Each office is provided to cater to the needs of student veterans enrolled in academic programs offered by campus. Please contact the office associated with your degree program. The experts in each office will guide/refer you to additional people you may need to speak with.

The Military Connected and Veteran Student Success Center (MVC) provides a supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of military-connected students, offering services such as academic advising, financial counseling, wellness support and assistance with VA benefits like the GI Bill®. Additionally, the MVC will host peer support groups, workshops, and networking events to help foster a sense of community and belonging. By addressing the specific challenges faced by military-connected individuals, the MVC will play a crucial role in ensuring these students’ academic and personal success.


Fit & Rec provides indoor and outdoor activities to meet your recreational and fitness needs.  This includes the Sarkeys Fitness Center, Murray Case Sells Swim Complex, and recreation fields.

OU Health Services offers a variety of on-campus medical services by board-certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistance, physical therapists, counselors, and pharmacists in family medicine, sports medicine, and disease prevention and treatment.  The clinic and pharmacy are open Monday through Friday 8 am-5 pm CST.

OU Advocates is a 24/7 helpline and support service for anyone in our OU community who experience sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, and/or sexual harassment. We are a free and confidential resource on campus. Any student, staff, or faculty member in the OU community can utilize Advocate services.

Housing and Residence Life provides a complimentary service to accompany you anywhere on campus and in the Greek community from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., Sunday to Friday. This service is staffed by trained resident advisers who are readily available to assist students. To reach SafeWalk, call 405-325-WALK (9255). You also can call from the blue emergency phones. When using a blue phone, simply ask the OUPD dispatcher to connect you with SafeWalk.

SafeWalk staff arrive within 10-15 minutes at any OU campus location and escort persons on foot to their campus destination. Shirts and badges identify SafeWalk staff. SafeWalk staff carry flashlights at all times and umbrellas in wet weather.
