M.S. in Sustainability: How to Apply

To apply to the MSS program, complete an online application, and submit your undergraduate transcripts, current resume, and a personal statement. Interviews, references, and GRE/GMAT scores are not required.

Admissions Requirements List (standard across programs)

  • Online Application
    To apply to the online MSS program, students must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent) and have completed college algebra.

  • Transcripts
    Submit electronic transcripts directly to gradadm@ou.edu. If your undergrad institution only provides paper transcripts, have them mailed to the University of Oklahoma, Office of Graduate Admissions, 731 Elm Avenue, Room 318, Norman, OK 73019.

  • Current Resume
    Your experience is important. Include detailed and professionally formatted documentation of your past education and work experience.

  • Personal Statement
    Include a 300–500-word statement addressing these questions:
         - What are your expectations for this program?
         - What are your career ambitions?
         - What experience will you bring to the program and to your
            classmates?

  • Not Required
           The Master of Science in Sustainability program does not require
           interviews, references, or GRE/GMAT scores.
