The undergraduate standard option is a 124 credit hour program designed to be completed in four years with a maximum credit hour enrollment of 16. Students start with a general course titled "Enterprise Engineering." Next, they are introduced to manufacturing processes, system analysis, engineering statistics, ergonomics, production planning, quality engineering, simulation, material handling, and facilities layout.
Students take a senior capstone class (also known as Senior Design) where they are assigned to a company to solve real-life Industrial and Systems Engineering challenges.
Prepare students to computer-intensive Industrial and Systems Engineering careers, primarily for industries and companies that provide e-business solutions.
The Information Technology B.S. option enhances the technology skills of ISE graduates and requires 131 hours, many of which are drawn from electives in the School of Computer Science. In addition to core ISE coursework, students take 18 credit hours of courses ranging from database management to operating systems, and upper level electives in computer science. A minimum GPA of 2.8 is required to take Computer Science courses.Students take a senior capstone class (also known as Senior Design) where they are assigned to a company to solve real-life Industrial and Systems Engineering challenges.
Provide students with the Industrial and Systems Engineering tools and methods that will help them manage their medical courses.
The Pre-Medicine option requires 136 hours of coursework and includes several additional physical science electives in addition to the traditional ISE plan of study. This option equps students with the requirements of Pre-Med programs while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
New five-year programs leading to Master of Science degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering or Master of Business Administration degrees also are available to outstanding undergraduate students.
