Incoming freshmen and freshmen with fewer than 24 credit hours are officially advised through University College or the Scholars Program. However, we encourage prospective industrial and system engineers and ISE freshmen to meet with an ISE faculty adviser as well. Because of our thorough understanding of ISE degree requirements, we can help ensure that you are following the optimal path. We can also answer specific questions about your math, science, and engineering classes. After making your official university advising appointment, please contact the School of ISE by email or by phone (405) 325-3721 to schedule an appointment with the ISE freshman adviser.

Yes. Undergraduate scholarships are available for both incoming and currently enrolled students. Prospective students should visit the Financial Aid Services website to apply, or reapply, for any departmental scholarships. Students must indicate "industrial and systems engineering" as the intended major in order to be considered for ISE scholarships. Most ISE scholarships are renewable annually as long as the student remains in good standing with the school and continues to meet the requirements of the scholarship. Undergraduate students can receive departmental scholarships for up to four years.
