BIO

Dr. Qi Li is an assistant professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. She received her doctoral degree in Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines in 2024.

Her research focuses on developing data-driven solutions leveraging deep learning, machine learning, and image processing techniques to improve the management and control of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). In particular, her recent research focuses on applying deep learning and image processing approaches to build computer systems to make CPS more energy efficient, including smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, and smart grids.

She received recognition for the Best Paper Award at BuildSys and Cyber-Physical Systems Rising Star, she also made both the source code and dataset available to the broader research community.
