The David L. Boren College of International Studies Young Alumni Board, established in Fall 2017, is an advisory board made up of CIS alumni from the last 10 years. Board members are working around the world for organizations like the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the German Marshall Fund and the US Senate. Twice a year, the board meets to discuss programs and opportunities at CIS and submit recommendations to the Dean. Members of the board can advise on a variety of topics, including academic programs, student opportunities and education abroad.
As alumni of the David L. Boren College of International Studies, the board members offer a unique perspective on our programs and how they affect post-graduate life. Young Alumni Board members are also available to mentor current students and assist the College as volunteers or fundraisers.

Join an Alumni Club
OU Alumni Clubs are an extension of the University of Oklahoma and promote the university by serving as a liaison between OU and its alumni, students and friends. OU Clubs renew old and encourage new friendships. Typical club activities include sponsoring athletic watch parties, assisting with student recruitment in your area and hosting university speakers, from favorite professors to OU coaches.
