The day will include sessions focused on equipping American Indian students for success in both academic and student life. Parents and family members attending with their student will also have the chance to hear from staff and alumni on how to provide support for their student’s academic career throughout their time at OU. Sunday, November 5: OU Day with DODEA
If you attend high school on a U.S. Military Base abroad, OU will virtually visit at 7 p.m. your local time. You will hear from an OU admissions counselor about our admissions process, cost of attendance, scholarships, and more. We will virtually visit Guam, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, England, Puerto Rico, and Cuba.

Join us on campus from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for an in-person event where you will go on a campus tour, meet our ROTC branches, attend information sessions, and hear from a student cadet panel!

Meet with an OU Admissions Counselor one on one to discuss opportunities geared towards anyone with a military connection. Topics can include: admission to the Norman Campus and Professional and Continuing Studies programs, residency, utilizing educational benefits, scholarships, etc. Each meeting is 30 minutes and you can select virtual or in-person.

Join us at 4 p.m. CT as we go over how to establish and use GI bill benefits, navigate residency questions, and share on-campus support and involvement opportunities specifically available to military students.

Thursday, November 9: Veterans Education and Resource Fair
Oklahoma City Community College and the University of Oklahoma are partnering for the First Annual Veterans Education and Resource Fair from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.! This event is come-and-go, free, and open to all active duty military, veterans, National Guard/Reservists, military spouses and family members. Individuals will have the opportunity to meet with two-year and four-year institutions in the state of Oklahoma, technical training schools, regional Veterans Upward Bound programs, and other community-based organizations.

Rising high school juniors - save the date for Sooner Saturday 2024! Join us for OU's largest open house event for high school juniors! At Sooner Saturday, you will learn more about our amazing campus by going on a campus tour, viewing our various living communities, exploring the academic programs on campus, engaging with student organizations, gaining resources on paying for college, and more.
