Join the University of Oklahoma Office of Admissions & Recruitment for our annual Sower's Day! You will learn more about how OU will help you "sow the seeds" for your future as a student here and beyond. Whether you are the first in your family to attend college, from a rural community, or looking to transfer to OU, you have the ability to thrive on our campus and impact not only your community but also the world. You will hear from faculty from your area of academic interest, learn about paths to affordability, and engage with current students, faculty, and staff at OU.
For: First-generation, rural high school seniors & college transfer students. One guest per student is encouraged to attend.
What to expect
The application for freshman admissions is open, and we hope you'll apply to join the OU family for fall 2024 to receive a little box of BIG news! We encourage you to apply by November 1, our early action admission deadline, for priority admission, merit-based scholarships and financial aid, early access to housing, and much more!
