You can combine degrees like biology and Spanish, economics and Chinese, or history and psychology — or you can even design your own major! With programs in the natural and physical sciences, humanities, social sciences, and professional areas, an Arts and Sciences degree equips you with countless perspectives before you walk across the graduation stage.

Help discover new knowledge. Undergraduate research opportunities include going on archaeological digs, investigating medical and visual anthropology, finding new drugs from fungi, helping translate ancient science books, or digitizing collections of historic documents. All Arts and Sciences majors are taught by research faculty who are leaders in their own fields.

From the Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies center where students work with elected officials and nonprofits to the Withrow Leadership Scholars program where students will complete a "Leadership and Service Abroad" course in Paris and Clermont-Ferrand, France, you'll find a way to learn about the world while fostering positive change.

The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences has prepared me well for my future endeavors. Because it’s the largest academic college on campus, I was fearful of being another number as a student within DFCAS, but my experience has been very different. I have been able to connect with admirable professors, receive intentional care from my advisors, and build great relationships with fellow students through common courses and organizations.
