Interns will demonstrate knowledge of models and practice of supervision through either direct or simulated supervisory experience. Interns will be expected to demonstrate the ability to build effective and professional supervisory relationships with supervisees, will be available and provide regular, timely consultation and feedback to supervisees. Interns are expected to monitor treatment progress of clients under supervisees’ care, communicate expectations and goals, and encourage awareness of diversity in those to whom they provide supervision. Interns will also be expected to provide support and feedback that is developmentally appropriate for supervisees level of training and experience and demonstrate awareness of supervisee needs and welcome and implement feedback where appropriate.
