Psychiatric Services
Psychiatric services are available for any current student, faculty, or staff member of OU who may benefit from medication.
The Goddard Counseling Center provides psychiatric services to aid you in managing symptoms through medication. Our psychiatrists have significant experience working in a university setting and can help you determine if medication may be helpful for you.
If you are seeking medication for ADHD, you must submit your psychiatric testing results to our front desk TWO WEEKS PRIOR to your appointment. The results will be reviewed by your psychiatrist and one of our staff psychologists. If you have not received psychological testing, please click here to learn about our assessment services.
Psychiatric Appointments:
- Take place 1-on-1 with one of our psychiatrists.
- Last approximately 30 minutes each
New clients will be required to complete a 60-minute psychiatric intake appointment. Follow-up appointments last approximately 30 minutes. For more information on what to expect in the intake, click here.
