OU-Tulsa Commencement
Tuesday, May 6, 2025 @ 7 p.m.
The 2025 OU-Tulsa Commencement will take place on Tuesday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. at the Reynolds Center on the University of Tulsa campus.
Graduates from Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 are invited to participate. Each student's name will be called as they walk across the stage. Masters and Doctoral candidates will be hooded on stage by their faculty.
Regalia is Required
All graduates should wear appropriate caps, gowns, and tassels. Masters and doctoral level students will also be "hooded" as part of the Commencement ceremony, and must have their hood with them so as to be hooded on stage. While the official OU regalia is not required, you will need to be in a black gown. Details on the specific regalia items needed for each level of degree and program on the OU-Tulsa campus can be found in our OU-Tulsa regalia guide.
To purchase regalia, please attend Graduation Gear-Up - date TBA. Graduation Gear-Up will be located in Founders Student Center from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. You will be able to purchase your cap, gown, hood, class rings, diploma frames, and more.
If you cannot attend Graduation Gear-Up, please email TulsaSA@ou.edu to schedule an appointment time to purchase your regalia. You will be required to pay with exact cash or check, so please reach out to the Student Affairs team to figure out your exact cost.
Day-of Instructions

Each graduate will be given a card at check-in with their name printed on it; this card will be used to announce your name as you walk across the stage, so please do not lose it.
