At the OU-TU School of Community Medicine, our research faculty and staff are dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and enhancing our community through collaborative, multi-disciplinary research.
Our collaborations with partner universities and community organizations allow us to have a broad scope of research activity. Some of our research includes quality improvement projects developed to more efficiently serve patients; social behavioral studies aimed at analyzing the impact of social determinants on health; multi-year, multi-site population health studies; and community based participatory research designed to promote the overall well-being of our community’s citizens with a special emphasis on the underserved, and more.
The OU-TU School of Community Medicine's multi-disciplinary research teams allow us to work together to make a difference. We are committed to engaging students and residents to instill the importance of research and to inspire future generations of scholars, community leaders, and clinicians.
