Peggy and her husband, Charles, were the lead donors to make the Stephenson Cancer Center a reality in 2011. This center offers a first-class treatment option for people with cancer in Oklahoma. Taylor, a cancer survivor herself, talks with Stephenson about her cancer experience. She is a 25-year breast cancer survivor.

Stephenson continues to visit the center periodically to share hope and encouragement with patients. She wants people in Tulsa and surrounding areas to know that first-class cancer treatment is only a couple of hours away.

“I have letters in a box right now [from] people that I meet every day and it’s wonderful [that they] say, ‘I went to the Stephenson Cancer Center and I have been helped.’ That’s the joy,” says Stephenson.
