I enjoy my work at OU because of the people I get to work with. I enjoy collaborating with staff, faculty, and students to fulfill the mission of changing lives.
Listening to the community of staff on the Norman campus is important to me as a Senator. Conversations with staff allow for issues to be shared and ideas to be generated that can benefit our whole community.
I am currently the co-chair of the Staff Senate Initiatives Committee and have served on that committee since 2021. I am also serving a term on the Staff Dispute Resolution Committee.
I have two teenage boys who keep me busy with their band and soccer activities. I enjoy gardening and have a flower garden in my front yard and a veggie and herb garden in my back yard.
I have two dogs. Cora is a 6- or 7-year-old hound mix (think pointer/pit) who thinks she’s a princess, but in reality, is an escape artist. Luna is a 3-year-old yellow lab who is obsessed with humans and playing ball.
