Dear SEC Student Leaders and Advisors:
Welcome to the University of Oklahoma! On behlaf of the OU Student Government Association, we are excited to open our campus to you July 18 - 21, 2024. Our conference planning commission has been working hard since last Fall to create an experience rich in reflection, connection, participation, and collaboration. We know your resources - especially your time - are valuable, and we have taken this into consideration as we have curated this special weekend. Day 1 - Be comfortable as you travel!
Check-in at the NOUN Hotel during 3 - 7pm with both hotel staff and an OU SGA team member to collect information and t-shirts.
Once you drop off your bags in your rooms, just come back downstairs. We will be having a reception at the NOUN in their lovely Boomer Ballroom and Patio starting at 6:00pm so we can start getting to know each other before our next two days!
Day 2 - Business casual in school colors!
We will start with breakfast at the NOUN followed by a welcome ceremony led by our SGA President and with a special program designed by a valued member of the OU community.
Schools will present their ideas all day with lunch provided. Pictures will take place outside our National Weather Center before free time and dinner on your own!
Day 3 - Business casual then professional!
We will go on a tour of campus and athletic facilities, enjoy lunch, and have more presentations from delegations before we send you off to explore OU and the Norman community.
The State Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be served at the Molly Shi Boren Ballroom in our Oklahoma Memorial Union! Bring your business professional outfits for a night to remember!
