Many federal, state, and private funding agencies issue requests for proposals that limit the number of applications they will accept from an institution. The University of Oklahoma (OU) has established a process to identify limited submission opportunities and internally select applicants to submit proposals in response to those programs. The following process is designed to support an equitable review while preventing any disqualifications due to submissions from OU beyond the allowed number.
ORS identifies limited submission funding opportunities through internet searches, web services, funding databases, and historical opportunities. However, despite the best efforts of ORS, not every funding opportunity may be identified.
Anyone who wishes to apply to a limited submission opportunity that is not posted on the Limited Submissions webpage or a Limited Submission opportunity whose internal application deadline has passed should contact ORS at ors_limitedsubs@ou.edu to indicate interest in submitting to the program. Include a link to the program solicitation/program guidelines in the email.
