To help faculty prepare ideation for the OVPRP Big Idea Challenge 2.0, the Center for Faculty Excellence and OVPRP Strategic Vertical Institutes are convening networking events on the four BIC 2.0 themes.
Coordinated by the Center for Faculty Excellence, the Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis, and the Institute for Resilient Environmental and Energy Systems, this networking event will allow for you to learn more about the Big Idea Challenge 2.0 and meet other OU colleagues interested in teaming to respond to the funding opportunity. Lunch will be provided; registration is required.
Coordinated by the Center for Faculty Excellence and the Data Institute for Societal Challenges, join your OU colleagues as we brainstorm and innovate together. Lunch will be provided; Registration is required.
This event provides space for faculty interested in participating in BIC 2.0, emphasizing Theme 3: Materials Science and Engineering as an enabler of future technological advances across verticals. Researchers looking to join teams will be invited to share their expertise with the community in 30-second presentations. Additionally, 3-5 teams will share their broad project idea and encourage faculty with complementary expertise to join. Light refreshments will be provided for registered participants.
Join the Institute for Community and Society Transformation for a networking breakfast with OU colleagues on ideation and team development around theme 4. If you are interested in leading or being part of a Big Idea Challenge team but are unable to make this date, please reach out to Shane Connelly (sconnelly@ou.edu) Matt Jensen (mjensen@ou.edu) or Brittany Hott (bhott@ou.edu).
