Program Description
The Division of Marketing and Supply Chain Management offers exciting options for students interested in business careers.
The Healthcare Business Major benefits Price College and the healthcare disciplines through an interdisciplinary arrangement that augments traditional healthcare education, while providing added value to the Price College of Business undergraduate student.
Specifically, the major offers additional perspective and credentials that make them desirable recruits and better prepared employees for hospitals, clinics and related healthcare organizations.
We offer specialized courses in healthcare supply chain management, marketing and administration, competitive and economic environment of healthcare, ethical & regulatory issues, and a hands-on learning experience with ‘applied project’ which is developing into consulting experience.
Students receive a preliminary look into the healthcare sector that will assist them in determining whether they should pursue more formal training at the graduate level in one of the allied health professions in addition to making them more attractive applicants to those programs.
A Healthcare Business student graduates with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Advanced degrees include Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy.
