Breea Clark is originally from Wichita, Kansas, where she graduated with her B.A. in Political Science from Wichita State University in 2005. Before earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2008, she started working for the University’s Office of the Provost on the main campus and was instrumental in the creation of the Office of Academic Integrity Programs where she worked for ten years. Ms. Clark has served as the Director of the JCPenney Leadership Center since 2018 where she advises the JCPenney Leadership Program and teaches both undergraduate, graduate, and study abroad leadership courses.

On campus, she has served on the University’s Legal Panel, Speakers Bureau, as an interim Pre-Law Club Advisor, and as a Faculty in Residence for the N.E.W. Leadership Program. She is also a proud graduate of the 2018-19 OU Leadership Council class. She currently serves on the Staff Senate Community Outreach Committee and as the Faculty Advisor to IGNITE. In the Norman community, she served on the Norman City Council from 2016-2019 representing Ward 6 in NE Norman and from 2019-2022 as the city of Norman’s first Millennial Mayor. Additional leadership training included her participation in the 4th class of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership initiative and as a 2021 fellow in the VV Engage Global Fellowship with Vital Voices.

Ms. Clark speaks regularly in the community and on campus about leadership generally, cross-generational leadership, work-life integration, and translating community engagement into public service.
