Jared Stanfield

Jared Stanfield’s research area is in corporate finance, with a focus on the impact of various stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, governments, or private equity owners, on the operations and outcomes of the firm. He also is interested in research topics related to mergers and acquisitions and statistical networks. His research has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, among others. Jared previously served as an associate professor of finance at the University of New South Wales. He holds a doctoral degree in finance from the University of Washington, as well as bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from the University of Utah.
