The MS in Finance program requires 32 graduate credit hours. In the accelerated BBA/MS FIN option, students complete the BBA and MS in Finance degrees in a combined 5 years by including up to 12 hours for both undergraduate and graduate credit.
Admission Requirements
The accelerated BBA/MS in Finance program is open to current finance or accounting majors at OU who have successfully completed 75 credit hours.
Admission decisions are based on a number of factors including performance in prior undergraduate/graduate coursework, a GMAT or GRE score (if applicable), employment history, letters of recommendation, and a statement of the applicant’s personal goals. Admission decisions are generally made on a rolling basis after the application has been received.
GMAT Waivers
Applicants can always opt to submit a GMAT score, but candidates may request a GMAT / GRE waiver. The admissions committee will evaluate waiver applications on a case-by-case basis and waivers are not guaranteed.
If you want to be considered for a GMAT waiver, please select GMAT waiver on the supplemental application. They will take into consideration your finance grades, work experience and other factors when evaluating the waiver request.
