The OU Academic Technology Expo (ATE) is a collaborative event to enhance interdisciplinary technology use and effectiveness at the University of Oklahoma, both inside and outside the classroom. The ATE 2025 theme is Sooner AI: Pioneering Educational Innovation!
While the focus of ATE 2025 is to showcase how faculty use Artificial Intelligence tools in their classes and the future of Al at OU, there will be a variety of topics surrounding academic technology.
Mark your calendars for January 9th & 10th, 2025! There will be a half-day of virtual presentations on January 9th and a full-day, in-person Expo on the Norman campus on January 10th. This day features in-person sessions some of which will be streamed and all will be recorded for later viewing.
A half-day of virtual presentations begins on Thursday, January 9th at 9 AM, and an in-person full day on the Norman campus on Friday, January 10th in the Oklahoma Memorial Union. Breakfast and check-in begins at 8:30 AM on the third floor of the Oklahoma Memorial Union in the ballroom.
For Thursday's virtual event, attendees will hear opening remarks from OU IT CIO Nishanth Rodrigues, Ed. D. On Friday, Chris Kobza, OU IT Mission Support Director, will start the in-person event.
Keynotes include Lance Ford from Zoom for Thursday's Virtual Keynote speaker, and Dr. Laura Dumin for the in-person event on Friday.
