iFAST Marine

Marine covers ~70% of the Earth surface with average depth of 3,800 m, it provides the largest habitats (including sea water, sediment and rocks) for life to thrive, serve as the core to sustain the habitability of the Earth. Under the climate change circumstances, the ocean and its ecosystem are evolving, this symposim will bring senior and young scientists together to discuss various aspects of marine and its ecosystem development. The symposim will include three sessions: I. Biogeochemical processes in the ocean and the sustainable development.; II. Extreme ecosystems in the ocean; and III. Marine ecosystem under climate change. Each of these sessions will last 2.5h with 2-3 keynote talks and 4-6 short talks during August 16-18, 2021.
