Summer Advantage Scholars

Summer Advantage Scholars (SAS) was created for students who are awarded the Federal Pell Grant, have maximized all of their aid money, maintained a 2.0 GPA and are interested in taking summer coursework at the University of Oklahoma.

Do I have to apply for this award? 

No, there is no application process for this award. 

How do I know if I have been selected to be a participant? 

You will receive an email from sas@ou.edu early Spring Semester letting you that you have been selected as a candidate.  

What can the Summer Advantage Scholar Award cover? 

Two OU summer courses on campus or online, required text books for your two courses, and in special circumstances, Room and Board through OU Housing and Food.
