Dean Andrea Miller Named to Women to KNOW in Oklahoma Class

Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication Dean Andrea Miller has been named to the inaugural 2026 Women to KNOW in Oklahoma class by KNOW Women.

The statewide recognition honors 50 women leaders across Oklahoma who are making significant impact in business, media, nonprofit leadership and community service. Honorees are selected through a competitive nomination and interview process and evaluated by a panel of former awardees and respected community leaders based on demonstrated professional accomplishments, measurable community or philanthropic impact, leadership within their industry and a commitment to empowering women.

The honorees were recognized at a formal black-tie gala Feb. 27, 2026, at The Montellano Event Center in Oklahoma City and will be featured in the inaugural Women to KNOW in Oklahoma hardcover publication.

In addition to Miller, several individuals with strong OU and Gaylord connections were named to the 2026 class, including Gaylord alumni Hannah Whitten, Houda Elyazgi and Rachel Cannon, Dr. Mautra Stanley Jones as well as OU supporter Lauren Mingee.
