There are many ways to get involved with Greenlight Creative Productions whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out, we have a place for you.
The GCP Practicum class involves the hands-on process of filmmaking from pre-production to post-production. Each semester, students create two short films and any additional music videos, documentaries, micro-films, and GCP marketing materials. Students must earn 75 hours in order to pass the class.
Greenlight’s registered student organization “Greenlight Studios” is the club that runs all of the behind-the-scenes of the practicum class. Students gain hands-on experience of running a campus wide organization, learn skills to put on resumes, and create portfolio pieces. Departments include operations, accounting, project development, special projects, marketing, and student engagement and outreach.
Greenlight is constantly looking for talented creators who are seeking opportunities to get their feet on set and try new things. When productions are in need of extra hands, our team refers to this database when inviting crew to join us on set. This is a great way to get involved with Greenlight if you are interested in the organization or don’t have room in your schedule to take the class or join the registered student organization.
